The Loft is a converted upper storey above what was once a weaver's workshop. Exposed roof beams, a long writing desk under the gable window, and the warmest afternoon light on the property.

It is the cottage chosen by writers, slow travellers, and anyone who has ever wanted to spend a week of work somewhere it does not feel like work. A small kitchenette handles breakfasts; everything else is two minutes down the road on Kloof Street.
